3KM Energy systems develops distributed renewable energy solutions for commercial and industrial off-takers. We develop solutions that help businesses in Nigeria make the transition to using renewable energy easy, by financing the development and deployment of the power solutions through long-term Power Purchase Agreements. Our solutions help Nigerian businesses lower or eliminate the use of fossil fuel powered self generation solutions (such as diesel and petrol fuelled generators) there by reducing their carbon emissions footprint, and also lower their energy cost by displacing cost intensive diesel generators with solar power solutions. We offer this sustainable model through secured debt financing of the projects we develop and we repay the secured loans from the cost savings we offer the businesses.

Project pitch
We are seeking $2,000,000 in debt financing for secured projects that are at execution stage. We currently have signed PPAs with a Nigerian commercial bank to deploy our middle range solar power solutions to 100 of the bank’s branches, we have a PPA with a Nigerian Juice manufacturing company where we have have deployed our solution at 3 retail outlets of the business. We are seeking funding to deploy at a further 8 locations across the country. We also have secured PPA with a fitness gym establishment for 15 locations across the country. Our project pipeline is estimated to be a 6.7Mwp capacity pipeline with a mix of Hybrid and Grid tied solutions.
