Company description
enPower.life is a clean-energy company and independent power producer with bases in Germany and Uganda. We develop, finance, install and operate solar PV and hybrid energy systems for commercial and industrial clients through an Energy-as-a-Service model. This allows businesses to access reliable solar power with no upfront investment, stable tariffs, reduced diesel dependency and full operation and maintenance support.
Our model has already been demonstrated through operational C&I solar projects in Uganda, including hotels, universities, residential and commercial clients, with system sizes ranging from 28 kWp to 130 kWp and further confirmed projects in the 2026 pipeline. enPower.life is now preparing its Nigeria market entry through a PPP-led expansion model focused on hybrid solar, battery storage, diesel integration, smart controls and scalable financing for businesses facing unreliable grid supply and high diesel costs.
Team
Led by Thomas Frank, enPower.life works with Envidatec GmbH, Sun & Charge GmbH and Nigerian anchor partners, combining solar financing, Energy-as-a-Service, technical design, O&M and PPP scale-up expertise.

Project pitch
enPower.life is showcasing its Nigeria market entry initiative for scalable hybrid solar solutions for commercial and industrial clients. The project responds to a clear market need: Nigerian businesses face unreliable grid supply, frequent outages, high electricity costs and heavy dependence on diesel generators. These challenges increase operating costs, reduce business resilience and create avoidable COâ‚‚ emissions.
Our solution combines solar PV, battery storage, diesel-generator integration, smart energy controls, digital monitoring and energy efficiency measures. Through our Energy-as-a-Service model, clients can access reliable clean energy without upfront capital expenditure, while benefiting from predictable tariffs, reduced diesel consumption, full operation and maintenance support, and improved power quality.
The Nigeria initiative is being developed through a PPP-led expansion model with Envidatec GmbH, Sun & Charge GmbH and Nigerian anchor partners. Food Concepts Plc is the initial pilot partner, with the potential to scale solutions across more than 250 outlets. Pan African Towers represents a further potential pipeline of approximately 700 sites. Together, these anchor opportunities create a strong basis for scalable deployment across Nigeria’s commercial and industrial energy market.
We are seeking investment, financing partnerships and strategic cooperation with development finance institutions, impact investors, Nigerian public-sector stakeholders, local technical partners and commercial clients. Funding and partnership support will help accelerate pilot implementation, local capacity building, bankable project structuring and roll-out across multiple sites.
The expected impact includes lower energy costs, improved reliability, reduced diesel generator runtime, CO₂ emission reductions and training for local technicians and energy managers. The project aligns strongly with Nigeria’s energy transition needs, EU-Nigeria cooperation priorities, and SDGs 7, 9, 11, 13 and 17.
