Nigeria-EU Business Forum

EU-Nigeria Agribusiness Platform

The EU–Nigeria Agribusiness Platform (EUNAP) is a bilateral trade and investment facilitation platform designed to strengthen agribusiness linkages between Nigeria and the European Union. We serve as a gateway for Nigerian agribusinesses to access EU markets and support European stakeholders seeking to engage, invest, or trade in Nigeria’s dynamic agricultural sector.

Our platform is co-developed with guidance from key public and private stakeholders, and is aligned with the EU’s development cooperation priorities, Nigeria’s national trade agenda, and global goals for sustainable agriculture and economic growth.

Our Mission

To create a unified digital space that:

  • Drives inclusive trade and investment
  • Facilitates cross-border agribusiness partnerships
  • Enhances market access for Nigerian and EU businesses
  • Supports capacity building, knowledge exchange, and policy alignment
Our Objectives
  • Build and maintain a trusted digital marketplace for agribusiness trade
  • Enable matchmaking between Nigerian SMEs and EU buyers/investors
  • Support access to finance, advisory, and compliance tools
  • Foster responsible investment and long-term partnerships
  • Provide up-to-date market insights, data, and intelligence
Who We Serve

EUNAP is tailored to support:

  • Nigerian Agribusinesses – SMEs, cooperatives, exporters, processors
  • EU Buyers & Partners – importers, trade investors, chambers, retailers
  • Government & Development Agencies – policy enablers and facilitators
  • Trade Ecosystem Players – service providers, financial institutions, associations
Our Roots in Policy & Partnership

The platform is a direct response to the EU and Nigeria’s shared commitment to deepen agricultural collaboration, stimulate private-sector-led development, and empower rural communities. EUNAP supports the domestication of this ambition by enhancing trade relations, attracting responsible investment, and fostering productive business linkages — especially for SMEs and rural actors.

Why It Matters

Agriculture remains one of the most powerful engines for inclusive economic growth in Nigeria — and a strategic sector for EU development cooperation. EUNAP is the bridge between local agribusiness potential and international markets, offering tools, knowledge, and networks to:

Expand Trade
EUNAP opens up new export pathways for Nigerian agribusinesses by connecting them directly with verified EU buyers, reducing trade barriers and promoting access to high-demand international markets.

Grow Investments
By showcasing credible opportunities and offering matchmaking tools, the platform attracts local and foreign investors seeking profitable ventures across Nigeria’s agricultural value chains.

Strengthen Supply Chains
Through partnerships, logistics support, and digital tools, EUNAP helps align producers, processors, and distributors — improving efficiency, traceability, and product quality.

Promote Sustainability
The platform encourages climate-smart agriculture and sustainable business practices by facilitating access to knowledge, certifications, and EU-compliant standards.

Create Jobs in Rural Economies
EUNAP drives inclusive growth by supporting smallholder farmers, agripreneurs, and cooperatives — unlocking employment and income opportunities, especially for youth and women.

Foster Innovation and Knowledge Sharing
EUNAP connects Nigerian and EU research institutions, agritech companies, and development partners — enabling the exchange of ideas, technologies, and best practices that drive innovation and smart agriculture.

Africa Trading Free Flow (ATFF) is building a digital trade and investment infrastructure platform that supports AfCFTA by connecting SMEs, exporters, investors, logistics providers, and regulators across Africa. We see strong alignment with EUNAP’s mission to strengthen EU-Nigeria agribusiness trade and investment. We would like to explore a strategic partnership that combines EUNAP’s agribusiness ecosystem and EU market access capabilities with ATFF’s continental trade infrastructure to create scalable opportunities for agricultural exports, investment, and value-chain development.
