Project pitch

ZOOMe is building Africa’s electric mobility infrastructure by solving one of Nigeria’s most urgent challenges: the high cost, pollution, and unreliability of transport. With fuel prices rising over 400% since 2022 and road transport contributing up to 35 Mt of CO₂ annually, businesses and riders face shrinking margins and operational inefficiencies.

We are showcasing our proven battery-swapping network for electric two, three and wheelers: an infrastructure-led solution enabling 2-minute battery swaps, reducing downtime by up to 80%, and significantly lowering operating costs for fleet operators. Our solar-hybrid powered swap stations ensure reliable, clean energy while eliminating dependence on inconsistent grid supply.

ZOOMe has already demonstrated traction: 10 operational swap stations in Lagos, over 250 electric motorcycles powered, 40,000+ battery swaps completed, and 3.2 million kilometers driven on our network. This has resulted in measurable impact, including over 180 kilotons of COâ‚‚ emissions averted.

We are targeting a $300–400M annual market opportunity in Nigeria’s urban mobility sector, driven by strong policy support, declining battery costs, and increasing demand for affordable transport solutions.

At the Nigeria-EU Business Forum, we are seeking $2.5M in investment and strategic partnerships to scale our operations, expanding to 60+ swap stations, growing our fleet network, and strengthening our technology platform. We are particularly interested in partnerships across financing, clean energy, OEM integration, and infrastructure deployment to accelerate national rollout and pan-African expansion.

ZOOMe offers a scalable, climate-aligned investment opportunity that combines strong unit economics with measurable environmental and social impact, powering a cleaner, more efficient future for mobility in Africa.
