Infibranches Technologies

Company description

Infibranches Technologies is an EnergyTech infrastructure company focused on expanding access to reliable and affordable energy for underserved communities and small businesses in Nigeria. The company operates a distributed network of agents, community hubs, and technical partners that enable the deployment, financing, and servicing of off-grid solar solutions for productive use.

Through partnerships with leading solar manufacturers and financial institutions, Infibranches facilitates the distribution of solar home systems and productive-use solar equipment for micro and small enterprises such as barbershops, hairdressers, tailors, pharmacies, and agro-processing businesses. The company combines last-mile distribution with flexible financing models, including pay-as-you-go and embedded payment systems, to make solar solutions accessible to customers who are typically excluded from traditional energy.

Project pitch

Nigeria spends an estimated $14 billion annually on diesel to power homes and businesses, a costly and unsustainable stopgap. Infibranches Technologies is addressing this at scale by making clean solar energy financeable, trackable, and deployable for underserved households and MSMEs.

At the core of our solution is Fazipay, a hardware-agnostic, IoT-enabled energy–fintech infrastructure that connects solar manufacturers, financiers, and distribution networks into one intelligent ecosystem. Fazipay enables real-time asset tracking, embedded finance (including BNPL), and performance-based accountability, effectively turning distributed solar systems into bankable assets at the last mile.

At this Forum, we are showcasing three live, government-validated programmes:

PAYGo Solar & Productive Use of Energy (PUE): Deployment of 1–5 kW solar systems replacing diesel generators across MSMEs and households, financed through IoT-linked repayment models. Over 50,000 households are already reached, with expansion underway across multiple states states.
Solar for Business (SfB): A structured financing model enabling SMEs to acquire solar systems without upfront capital. This programme is backed by the Rural Electrification Agency under Nigeria’s Solar for Business Performance-Based Grant scheme.
Solar Hybrid Mini-Grid Facilitation: End-to-end structuring of mini-grid projects, integrating technology, financing, and operations for communities and commercial clusters, with proven deployments and a growing pipeline.

Recognised with the AFSIA Solar Technology of the Year Award 2025 and listed among HolonIQ’s Top 50 African Climate Tech Startups, Infibranches combines execution capacity with institutional credibility.

We are seeking blended finance, grant co-funding, impact equity, and strategic partnerships with DFIs, investors, and technology providers to scale deployment, deepen market penetration, and accelerate Nigeria’s transition away from diesel dependence.
