Company description
Indigo Farms and Bio Resources is a Nigerian climate-smart agro-processing and commodity supply company focused on reducing post-harvest losses and improving agricultural value chains.
We process cassava siftings, ginger, and cocoa using solar hybrid drying systems supported by heat pump technology for efficient all-weather processing and export-grade quality control.
The company also converts cassava waste into livestock feed ingredients through circular economy solutions while supplying agricultural and industrial commodities including maize, soya beans, limestone, kaolin, Palm Kernel Cake, wheat bran, and rice bran.
We are winners of the 2024 EU International Day of Zero Waste #WasteInnovationChallenge and also exhibited at the 2025 EU Eco Fair.

Project pitch
Indigo Farms and Bio Resources is showcasing a climate-smart agro-processing and circular economy project designed to reduce post-harvest losses, improve export-quality agricultural products, and convert agricultural waste into economic value.
We are seeking investment and strategic partnerships to scale our solar hybrid drying infrastructure for ginger, cocoa, and cassava processing. Our system integrates solar dome dryers with heat pump technology (repurposed HVAC systems imported from Europe and other global markets through circular economy channels) to enable efficient all-weather drying, improve product quality, reduce contamination, and support export-grade processing standards.
The project also transforms cassava peels into livestock feed ingredients, reducing environmental waste while creating additional revenue streams within the agricultural value chain.
Our expansion strategy focuses on increasing processing capacity, establishing modular drying hubs, strengthening farmer aggregation networks, improving traceability systems, supporting carbon credit compliance, and expanding access to regional and international export markets.
We are interested in partnerships across agro-processing technology, climate finance, export trade, industrial off-take, and sustainable agricultural infrastructure development.
We have demonstrated strong commercial traction through existing industrial supply relationships and scalable agro-processing operations. We are currently expanding a cocoa aggregation and delivery-in-store partnership model with Olam and FCMB, targeting direct delivery of up to 100 tons of cocoa under our company’s name.
The company has received recognition through the FMN Prize for Innovation and the EU International Day of Zero Waste Innovation recognition for its circular economy and waste-to-value solutions.
With existing industrial relationships and scalable processing infrastructure, Indigo Farms is positioned to support sustainable agriculture, rural enterprise development, and export competitiveness across regional and international markets, including Türkiye and other EU-adjacent markets.
